The Literary Salon started, as I’ve said elsewhere, as a little community of fiction writers supporting one another by sharing their post links here in the chat for us to read, like, and restack. That’s still happening, but it’s only for your fiction site.
It’s time we offered the same for our new non-fiction sites.
I’ve created postop.substack.com as a place for us to support one another and build category-centered communities the way we have for fiction here. So far, I’ve added initial threads for Faith and Spirituality, History, and Philosophy. We can add additional threads, just DM me what Category you need.
Getting started in hard and lonely. This community effort isn’t a growth hack, but it will give your posts that little nudge to get noticed by others. It also helps that you get to know the others in community, and you see them more often in Notes. It helps to cement a sense of belonging.
