Never Manually Tag People Again
Okay, once. For any group, you'll have to tag them exactly once.

Is you're going to use the post system, test it like a note and publish to web only with a link to your story to avoid triggering spam filters
There’s been a bit of a problem plaguing Substack. If you participate in these weekly theme days, like Sci-Friday, you have to go through arduous effort to tag a long list of participants again each and every time. No longer. Those days are done.
Forgive me flooding email boxes today. This is the second post from here. I accidentally sent two from Our Deeper Stories. I thought about not emailing this one at all and letting word get out by restacks, but if any of you participate in these tag days, this will matter to you.
Look at this example list of names:
I did no work to include them in THIS post. There was initial work involved, but if you’re repeatedly tagging the same hundred people, from this moment on, you’ll tag them one more time and never again. If you need to make changes, you’ll add or subtract just those people and be done.
First, obviously, I’ve tagged them here in this post and not in a note. That’s a requirement for this to work. It will keep the Notes neat, and you can include the list anywhere in the post you like, like at the end… with no additional work.
I know, I’m stalling for time. I waiting for people to tell me it’s okay to tag them. They all participate in these theme days, so I suppose I could just go ahead…
I’ll wait a little longer.
I want to thank Chris J. Franklin for working with me to verify this works. The goal is to alert people to the story, and this does that… only directly to the story as opposed to bringing them to a Note.
Make a dummy post with all the tags for your group. Add to it and subtract as needed. When you’re going to post something to the group, click on the three dots and choose Duplicate to Drafts. Modify that post as needed and publish.
There you go.
Until next time,

P.S. Please don’t tell me this was obvious and there’s a reason you’re not doing it this way.
P.P.S. If this really is a good solution to the problem, please consider giving it a restack and let others know.
Nice. You could set up one for each of the theme days.
A very good solution for posts, Thaddeus!
